This is picture 28 of 30 from my Summer 2011 trip home to Scotland. As I reviewed this picture I took nine months ago – my eyes fixated on the Blockbuster Video location on Blockbuster Video store on Byres Road in Glasgow. At the moment I had snapped this photo in July 2011, Blockbuster LLC had already filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in America, and Dish Network had already acquired its assets. Interestingly, Blockbuster’s UK subsidiary was still operating hundreds of storefronts like this one across Britain.
