A few weeks ago I checked in with my parents – who live near Hilton, New York. I found this Panasonic Cookbook on a bookshelf in her downstairs reading room. Living through COVID has changed the way I think about those years when I was an undergraduate student and would visit my parents on a regular basis. I fear what comes next, and so I cling more to what I remember from years gone past. I quietly tucked this away in my suitcase and put it on my own bookshelf in my basement study for safe keeping.
