Merlin Otello here with a related book recommendation: The Police: Every Album Every Song. My mother picked this up for me the last time she was in Los Angeles. I keep it on my coffee table in Toronto. Makes for a good conversation starter when extended family drops by over the holidays.

Merlin Otello here – when I was cleaning up my father’s weekend house in Ohio in November, I came across Johnny Cash: The Life – a very readable biography of the Man in Black. I liked this book so much I brought it back to my place in Toronto and have it propped up on the bookself in my spare bedroom.
