In the half decade between 2010 and 2015, the list of the world’s four largest economies as measured by nominal GDP in $US remained unchanged in either composition or sequence. The one change to this list was the identity of the world’s fifth largest economy, with the United Kingdom replacing France as estimated by the International Monetary Fund.
